About the workshops
Join us for a relaxed and inspiring Type-In, hosted by Word Minx at The Maker House.
You’ll be introduced to the charm of the typewriter, with a simple hands-on guide to get you started. After a few practice lines, you’ll select a meaningful quote—either from our curated collection or one you bring along—and type it onto beautiful A5 watercolour paper.
From there, the magic continues as you add your own artistic touch, painting around and over your words to create a unique, expressive piece. Sign your work and take home something truly personal.
With small group sizes, this workshop offers a calm, intimate space to slow down, create, and connect.

- A curated selection of quotes (or bring your own)
- A5 watercolour paper and painting materials
- A finished artwork to take home
